Cancellation policy

The aim of my cancellation policy is to:

a)     Maximise the use of my time, so I can provide the best possible care to the most people who need it, and,

b)    Reduce disruption to my schedule, which affects my ability to achieve this goal.

For this reason, I require at least 48 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend an appointment. Therefore:

·      Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice will not cost you anything.

·      Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time will be charged at 50% of the session fee, although if we are able to reschedule your appointment to later in the same work week, I may be able to waive a portion of the cancellation fee.

·      Not showing up to an appointment without at least an hour’s notice will cost 100% of the session fee.

If you are unable to attend your appointment in-person but can attend online, please inform me with as much notice as possible and I will endeavour to change your appointment.

Exceptions for late cancellations due to illness, bereavement, or any other unexpected and unforeseeable crisis will be made at my discretion.

By commencing therapy, you are agreeing to the above cancellation conditions.
